Talking to Horses doesn't change their behaviour, it's how you behave that changes that, but talking to horses can change how they feel.
Oscar
was hard to catch. He had
nothing to say to me until I worked with him to win his trust. The next
day when I went to his field, he came to meet me at the gate. What Oscar
told me brought tears to my
eyes. "I am horrid. I am nasty. I am vicious. I am wicked." he repeated
over and over as he stood with his nose resting gently on my shoulder.Oscar
had the scars on his head and flanks that showed how horrid he had
been.
He used to be head shy too, but now, he lets his owner rub his head and
massage his ears.Oscar had had unspeakable things done
to
him before his last two loving homes, yet holds no grudge against the
man
who abused him. Oscar still thinks it was all his own fault.
Whenever any of his owner's children get the chance, they tell Oscar he's beautiful
and wonderful, hopefully it won't be another 15 years before he forgets what that awful man said and believes them.
Rocky was about 11yrs old. In a very short time he had gone from a dodgy dealer, to a riding school, to another riding school, to his present owner who saved him from the meat man. He bucked and reared when ridden and attacked strangers. He'd been called naughty, vicious and all sorts of other unpleasant name. Rocky's trainer thought he was in pain but wasn't sure. Two vets have said he was fine and a chiropractor said his pelvis was out. The trainer thought it was something between shoulders and head.
When I scanned Rocky, I found his pelvis was crooked and described how his back and shoulders felt. I knew he needed rest and calm to recover. I sent healing and worked with Rocky to help remove emotional blocks. I discovered he could cope with the farrier, because he bent over, but was fearful of anyone tall who approached him. I found some Bach Flower Remedies to help Rocky's emotional problems.
It is rare that just talking to a horse shows immediate results, but Rocky's relief was remarkable to observe. A week on his trainer could say, "I'm not counting chickens or anything, but I really do feel we've made progress. Thank you so much. I do believe you were a key."
An animal communication will give you an insight into your horse, but it cannot replace veterinary advice. You may still need other professionals to fix a problem that an animal communication reveals.
